Job Purpose:
The primary Occupational Therapist work will be within the Homecare Service, but working as part of the Community Reablement Team. The post holder will manage a varied and complex caseload providing highly skilled occupational therapy interventions for adults referred to Homecare Service.
Qualification & Experience:
Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy or its equivalent.
HPC registered.
- 4 years post qualification experience including at least 18 months in an adult physical disabilities setting
- Supervision experience of junior staff and/or students
- Extensive clinical experience including individual and group work
- To have worked within a rehabilitation team within a community setting
- Budget management experience
- Experience of carrying out research service development or audit
- Experience of a range of physical disability settings
